This course will begin by exploring and getting familiar with the medium through a variety of exercises. Focus will be on learning about values, color mixing, layering and composition. We will paint a variety of subjects to master the medium. Students will be guided through step-by-step demonstrations. *Material list will be provided.

2024/25-AP01-Fundamentals of Art and Design
This course will focus on developing basic techniques of drawing, sketching and painting. We will explore a variety of mediums (pencil, charcoal, pastels) and subjects such as still life, landscapes, cityscapes, and more. A strong emphasis will be on drawing from observation. *Material list will be provided.
